Both confidence and assertiveness are connected to the amount that you like and value yourself, in other words, the amount of self-esteem that you have. People with high self-esteem are those who are more able to face life’s challenges without blaming or judging themselves as a failure, instead they will try again.

Confidence is a product of self-esteem; it is a state of mind that may change in different situations and that’s okay as long as your self-esteem stays in tact. When we don’t value our own opinions and decisions enough we are more likely to be influenced, overruled or even bullied by others who don’t respect our personal boundaries.

Being assertive is about feeling strong in our own opinions and being able to express them firmly and respectfully… but not aggressively…and without worrying about the consequences.

As your Confidence and Assertiveness Coach, I will:

  • Teach you a range of techniques to develop your belief in yourself
  • Help you to monitor your moods and discover how much your fluctuating moods are based on your level of self-esteem
  • Help raise your self-awareness and help you to discover the great qualities and talents you have
  • Equip you with techniques to stop negative self-thoughts and to habitually use positive self-talk
  • Help you communicate effectively and confidently
  • Help you to make decisions for yourself
  • Help you to express your feelings and thoughts freely
  • Help you set clear personal boundaries
